Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have a CNPJ [Corporate Taxpayer ID] to participate?
No. Proposals can be submitted by both individuals and corporations.
What happens after I submit my proposal?
Tupy's Innovation team, along with the technical areas responsible for the challenge, will evaluate the adherence of the submission based on the information filled in the form. Whether or not the proposal is approved, you will receive a formal response within 15 days after sending it. If we consider your proposal, our team will hold one to three meetings to understand your solution better and align the partnership format. It is essential to clarify that by your submission considered, no bond is established between Tupy and the proposer, both being free not to follow through during the alignment meetings. Only the formalization of the partnership with scope, commitments, and values binds the parties.
What are the possible partnership formats?
We will align during the meetings mentioned in the item above. The partnership format depends on the proposal nature and maturity of its development. For example, we can establish a simple supplier or customer-business relationship, a specific Proof of Concept business relationship, a technology partnership project, or even research support - these are not the only possibilities.
I do not feel comfortable sharing my proposal, given the degree of innovation I have generated. How should I proceed?
We do not recommend sharing sensitive information on the form. However, it's essential to provide information that leads us to see the potential of the proposal and its technical/economic feasibility. As soon as we start the meeting phase, we will consider bilaterally signing an NDA that will allow us to move forward in detail.
