The Company ranks 33rd<\/sup> among the 500 largest in the south of the country, according to the ranking of Grupo Amanh\u00e3.<\/p>\n

Tupy is in the 9th<\/sup> place among the 100 largest companies in Santa Catarina, rising one position this year. In the general ranking of the \u201cTop 500 in the South”, the company rose four positions and is now in the 33rd<\/sup> place. The information was disclosed by Grupo AMANH\u00c3, during an event in Porto Alegre on Tuesday, 29.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0addition, in the ranking among the Top 50 in Net Revenue, Tupy is in 9th<\/sup> place, and in relation to Shareholders’ Equity, in 6th<\/sup> place.<\/p>\n

The project \u201cTop 500 in the South\u201d is conducted by the AMANH\u00c3 Group and is considered\u00a0the most important regional\u00a0ranking in Brazil. It seeks to give recognition for the companies that make difference in the Brazilian states and uses indicators to show the largest and most competitive companies in Paran\u00e1, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul, as well as the highlights in 28 sectors of the economy.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0AMANH\u00c3 Group has the technical support of\u00a0PwC, the largest balance sheet audit in the world. To prepare the main ranking with the 500 largest companies in the South of Brazil, the group uses a methodology developed in partnership with\u00a0PwC. The methodology is called VPG –\u00a0Weighted Value of Greatness -, result of the sum of 50% of the shareholders\u2019 equity, 40% of net revenue, and 10% of the net result – profit or loss – for the year.<\/p>\n
