Published last week, the October edition of the Forbes Brasil magazine ranks Brazil\u2019s top 10 CEOs. Among them is Fernando de Rizzo, the CEO of Tupy, a Brazilian multinational company headquartered in the city of Joinville, state of Santa Catarina. The metrics evaluated by the magazine, in partnership with the CEO\/C-Level Program of @FGV, include financial indicators (revenue, profit and valuation) and the commitment to the ESG agenda of each company.<\/p>\n
In 2021, Tupy posted the highest net revenue of its 84 years of
\nhistory \u2013 \u00acR$7.1 billion. The Company maintained the same pace in the second quarter of this year: revenue and net income were the highest ever \u2013 R$2.5 billion (a 54% growth).<\/p>\n
Mr. Rizzo told the magazine that the Company\u2019s path has been increasingly connected with society\u2019s current challenges, the low-carbon economy and diversification. These are initiatives undertaken by \u201ca team with great leadership and execution capacity\u201d.<\/p>\n
