One of the recent results of this effort will be detailed this week at SIMEA 2022, where Andr\u00e9 Ferrarese, Director of Tupy Tech, will present a new concept in engine blocks. In addition to being lighter than aluminum, the alloy used in this component has all the other inherent advantages of cast iron.<\/p>\n<p>UltraLight Iron, the new solution developed by Tupy, is a new perspective for applications in smaller engines powered by gasoline, ethanol, or hybrid vehicles.
