Tupy will donate funds for the purchase of video surgery equipment for the Children\u2019s Hospital of Joinville. The institution is a reference in pediatrics and services are 100% funded by the Federal Government\u2019s Health System (SUS).<\/p>\n
The campaign is part of the Christmas Angels (\u201cAnjos do Natal\u201d) project, which is in its 3rd edition and aims to offer even more quality care to children and teenagers. The goal for 2021 is to raise R$100,000 for the purchase of video surgery equipment, a surgical method that enables faster post-surgery recoveries with less pain so patients can regain their daily activities. The Children’s Hospital performs approximately 30 monthly procedures using this technique.<\/p>\n
Tupy’s donation will be made official in a symbolic ceremony on December 13, at 3 p.m. The Company\u2019s representatives will meet with the Hospital’s board and together they will decorate the Christmas trees.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince its foundation, Tupy has contributed to the community through several social projects. Our donation is a continuation of the \u201cNatal Luz\u201d project, carried out annually by the Company, with the objective of offering a Christmas celebration for children in situations of social and economic vulnerability\u201d, stated Hugo Zierth, the Social Responsibility Manager at Tupy.<\/p>\n
