Technological routes in managing GHG emissions

THE CHALLENGE

In Tupy’s value chain, we combine economic development with environmental preservation. The potential of our contribution is both in actions that mitigate emissions in the production process and in the development of technologies that enable the reduction of CO2 emissions in the segments we operate, besides the improvement of circular economy fronts. Thus, Tupy’s strategy is aligned with monitoring and mitigating emissions.

The current challenge is to find viable solutions (socially, environmentally, and economically) that will contribute to our continued reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and electricity consumption in our foundry process.

Possible alternatives are the proposal of low emission fuels, new energy efficiency techniques in the industrial environment, etc.
