The responsibilities of the Quality Engineering area are to make sure that all industrial and managing processes are maintained according to the procedures determined by the Quality Management System and to search for the constant updating focused on the prevention of non-quality. The Quality Engineering area is in charge of internal audits and of the fulfillment of all requirements of the standards to which TUPY has been certified. The area is also responsible for motivating the increase of internal knowledge, being in charge of the administration of the company library and the Six Sigma program, which forms specialists in problem prevention and solution.

In order to guarantee the quality of the processes and, consequently, of the products, the responsibility of the Quality Engineering area go beyond and its presence is necessary also as far as suppliers are concerned. They are developed and periodically audited. Presently, all processes, both industrial and managerial, are monitored at Tupy by indicators established by the Quality Management System.
