
Being a TUPY employee is, immediately, being presented
to the Creation Program. It is a Continuous Improvement
Program that offers opportunities for everyone to contribute
for the improvement of the work environment, for the solution
of problems that might be having an impact on quality and
productivity and for new ideas to be born among those who
see better than anyone else and generate actions that will
result in something that is good for everyone. The Creation
Program counts on more than 300 teams and one of them was
awarded the National Quality and Productivity Award from
the Brazilian National Industry Confederation in 2003.
Taking part in the management is a principle that is stressed
by the Profit Share Program that the company offers to
all that have allowed for extra gains every year, provided
that goals such as internal scrap rates and accident reduction
have been reached and, at the same time, operational profit
has increased. Adopted for the first time in 1997, The
Profit Share Program has been offering traditionally an
extra annual gain that varies between one and two extra
monthly salaries.
TUPY also prepares its Human Values for special programs
like the Six Sigma, a tool that was created to search for
solutions for more complex problems as far as productive
and management processes are concerned.
